At Deloitte we think about the complex issues facing the public sector and develop relevant, timely, and sustainable solutions for our clients.This role sits within the industry-leading cloud professionals will enable our public sector client\'s end-to-end journey from on premise legacy systems to the cloud, from design through deployment, and leading to a transformed organisation primed for growth.You\'ll work alongside our clients to help them achieve success in the Cloud, with reference to the following areas:

• Work on monitoring and support cloud resources and application logs and take preventive and corrective actions.
• Resolve technical issues across application and infrastructure stack hosted on Azure environment. Responding to Support Tickets (Call, E-mail or Service Desk tools)
• Proactively implement require changes on Azure cloud environment to ensure all VMs stay up to date
• Implement changes that based on customer request, for example Processing firewall requests (between Azure and On-Premises)
• Select, understand and execute automation scripts within Azure environment to improve productivity and efficient of daily tasks.
• Engaging with Azure support on regular basis to ensure customer Azure environment on the latest enablement.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on understanding of building and setup Azure Dashboard reporting is key.
• Knowledge in Infrastructure Architecture, designing high availability, platforming and secure solutions using Public/Private cloud.
• Preparing individual Azure Services for risk assessment: determine security standards, write code for compliance checks
• Maintaining generic Azure infrastructure, service catalogue items, and reference architecture templates for.
• Maintaining approved and hardened OS builds (Linux, Windows Server 201x)
• Responding to risks & vulnerabilities identified during audits. Also at the same time have knowledge in performing Vulnerability scans on running instances where needed.
• Perform below task in Azure environments: -

• On regular basis create and manage swap space on deployed \'cloud system\' per customer standard.
• Knowledge on how to perform Restart/bounce/Power off/ Down the used and un-used Azure components/clusters/VMs and also developed standard procedure.
• In support of the deployed \'cloud systems\' and environments, create custom scripts to automate support processes where applicable and require.
• Ability to identify issue at Azure level and resolve. If needed escalate to Microsoft and coordinate with Azure support engineers till closure of issue.
• Deploy Azure API management services to multiple Azure Regions and manage Azure subscription and profiles
• Exposure in PowerShell and Unix Shell scripting will be added advantage in this role.
• Architectural exposure to Windows or Unix, Hyper-V, SAN, NAS and other technologies would be added advantage
• Adapts existing Azures standard methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
• Documenting Azure Architectural Designs by developing training material, delivering training and supporting users post cutover.
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Enough about us, let\'s talk about youIf you are someone with:

• Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience in Cloud with overall IT experience of around 10-12 years and above.
• Understanding of Cloud concepts - IaaS, PaaS, SaaS with practical hands-on experience in Azure using key services like VM, Azure API, or Cloud Services.
• IT in Linux and Windows operating systems with Azure Cloud is a must. Azure scripting skills (Azure CLI, Powershell, JSON, YAML) as a plus.
• Knowledge in Windows Server (20XX version), and RHEL / SLEs is a must. Knowledge in MSSQL will be added as an advantages
• Experience with Unix scripting, system sizing, systems configurations, storage management, database backups, recovery and DR in Azure environment is a plus.
• Sound understanding of business process, industry nuances and leading practices in area of focus
• Fluent knowledge in Azure Resource Manager, VM extensions, Azure Automation and solid understanding of networking and network security.
• In-Depth/hands on knowledge of Azure Monitor, Azure Storage (Blob, Block), Azure Virtual Machines (VM), Azure load balancing, Traffic Manager, Web Jobs, creating Resource Group, Virtual Machines, attaching Storage Disks vNet, Load Balancers and etc.
• Broad understanding of Azure design. Appreciation of digital enterprise and emerging technologies
• Ability to deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large organisations, preferably in public sector.
• You are people minded, nimble and sensitive to your environment, fascinated by the public sector, relish industry trends and market dynamics.
• Drive, tenacity, client focused and results oriented.
• An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a prerequisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
• Willingness to work outside of office base.
