Also requires to Co-ordinate with Stake holders, data source owners and technical architects.ResponsibilitiesThe activities in this role encompass understanding of Data Model , Business and Source Systems . Develop Data Quality Rules and Controls in place to ensure high quality of data in target platforms.The Responsibilities Include :

• Adhere to data governance standards and procedures
• Recommend plans / Strategy for the development and implementation of initiatives that assess the quality of new data sources
• Identify data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
• Design and monitor data governance, data quality and metadata policies, standards, tools, processes, or procedures to ensure data control and remediation for companywide data management functions
• Support issue remediation by performing basic to mildly complex data profiling, data or business analysis, and data mapping as part of root cause or impact analysis
• Work with business and technology partners or subject matter professionals to document or maintain business or technical metadata about systems, business or data elements, or data-related controls and data lineage.
• Consult with clients and upstream to assess the current state of data quality within area of assigned responsibility
• Maintains necessary processes, controls, and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• May facilitate meetings to gain consensus across stakeholders and provide senior level partners with delivery of findings and recommendations.
• Acting as an internal consultant within technology and business groups; participating in improvement to re-engineer processes for greater efficiencies
• Assessing Risks, ensuring mitigations, escalating issues/defects & working with technology partners to research and remediate as needed
• Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions / issues, assess user needs and recommend changes
• Participate in Agile project methodology sessions, including sprint planning and sprint retrospectives.

Qualification :Competent qualification in Technology - B.Tech/B.E/ MCA/MBA(preferred)Technical/Process Skills & Experience:

• Good understanding of Data-warehousing Fundamentals and experience in Source-Target Mapping, Lineage Tracing, Data Governance
• Sound in SQL [Oracle/Teradata], Hive
• Good experience of working in Agile Methodology
• Experience in any ETL/Reporting Tool is an advantage

• Good Communication & Presentation Skills
• Good stakeholder management experience
• Traits of Ownership & ability to drive deliverables with minimal guidance
• Result-Oriented mindset and demonstrating
