Job Description

Summary The objectives of the position are to support with the daily travel operations and travel arrangements for Singapore employees. The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing the travel vendors, be the travel system expert and support with ad-hoc project work.

What you\'ll do The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:

• Perform comprehensive travel arrangements, e.g. ticketing, accommodation & transportation reservations, visa application, destination information etc. Once the Company\xe2\x80\x99s online booking tool is launched, there will be a reduction in the day-to-day travel booking work.
• Build relationships with corporate travellers, understand their needs, and translate them into proactive solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of airline rules and regulations and other industry requirements and proactively share this information with travellers.
• Support with the roll-out and training of new market leading travel technologies and be a system expert to support whenever there are any technical issues.
• Proactively propose travel process improvement initiatives and support with their successful implementation.
• Support with adhoc travel projects, such as building up a corporate hotel list, vendor research and onboarding, new system releases, etc.
• Vendor management with our travel service providers, such as hotels, airlines, etc.
• Inform superior of all matters of significance and take prompt corrective action when necessary
• Maintain organised booking records and ensure strong compliance is met. Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned

What you\'ll need

• Bachelors degree and a minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience with a strong knowledge base within the travel industry
• Experience working with travel systems, Concur would be ideal
• Experience working with and building relationships with different travel vendors
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to optimise processes
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a compliance mindset
• Good judgment & skills to resolve conflicts and respond promptly to the ever-changing demands of travelers, as well as maintain a professional demeanor at all times Good command of spoken and written English
