Our client is an established leader in the Manufacturing industry. Currently hiring a hands-on and proactive professional with relevant experience in cost accounting and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment to join the team.

Requirements

• >4 years of cost accounting and financial analysis experience in a Manufacturing environment. Forecasting experience and basic accounting background is required (such as understanding of debit & credit)
• SAP FICO/MM exposure is highly preferred
• Desired traits: independent, proactive, problem-solver, results-oriented, good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Singaporean/ Singapore PR applicants

Budget
S$6,000 - 7,500 per month + Bonus

Job Scope

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing monthly costing variances, supporting manufacturing budget plan process, gross margin analysis, preparation of monthly manufacturing reporting pack, and governance of costing methodologies. You will work with Operations in managing operational expense drivers, inventory planning and headcount planning. You will also drive gross margin and inventory costing improvement initiatives, propose recommendations to improve overall cost management and review allocation of overhead costs, as well as take charge of the forecasting process involving manufacturing spends, product costs, COGS, store warranty and inventory.

You will also be involved in the review of costing related journals, review annual standard activity rate against actuals, develop cost related target plans, support in monthly financial close and ensure compliance with policies. You will have strong knowledge in relevant SAP modules and drive the standard cost change process of costing parts, manufacturing overheads and simulations in the system.
