Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be a licensed attorney with a law degree from a reputable law school
• 4 - 8 years of focused transactional legal experience including specific experience with technology transactions
• Corporate legal experience supporting a variety of functions and prior in-house experience preferred.
• A team player, comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships within cross functional business units.
• Must be analytical, attentive to details and an active user.

Requirements: Organization Legal & Compliance Job Summary This is an exciting opportunity to work within the growing and dynamic legal department of a fast-paced IT systems integrator, supporting and providing advice to the business units. Our legal team keeps pace with a rapidly growing and evolving company, providing practical advice while achieving business results. Essential functions The successful candidate will have extensive experience drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating complex transactional contracts including, but not limited to, vendor and customer master purchase agreements, requests for proposals, statements of work, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements, flow downs, and ordering documents. The candidate will work directly with the business, advising senior executives and other business members on various corporate issues and legal matters including, but not limited to international, intellectual property, and regulatory matters, focusing on identifying risk and proposing workable solutions. The candidate should be proactive and able to provide innovative solutions that balance business and legal concerns, as well as the ability to provide a high level of client services, performing excellent work under time pressure and addressing multiple competing priorities. The successful candidate will enjoy working hard and being challenged, demonstrating sound judgment in ambiguous situations and have a healthy sense of humor.
