The Opportunity
Actively identify credit risks and provide recommendations to mitigate settlement risks.
Prioritize new license applications to support company\'s Asia Pacific growth strategy, with special focus on South Asia markets.
Lead and drive new credit risk solutions as the payments landscape has evolved to more complex business models.
Proactively engage with business partners and provide solutions to mitigate the credit risks of new Fintech players that are not well capitalized.
Actively manage the AP collateral portfolio, including supervising the Collateral Manager on timely collateral renewals and submission of reports.
Identity key risks relating to the new payment flows and propose new collateral options to mitigate these risks.
Provide training, strategic support and recommendations to empower Account Executives with predetermined collateral options.
Contribute to key market initiatives (Local collateral solutions in Bangladesh) and ensuring that proper processes are in place to support credit due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
Provide proactive insights and scenario modeling to effectively manage the settlement risks of AP portfolio.
Initiate ideas in automating and enhancing risk management tools for effective ongoing monitoring and ensure timely response to market shifts.
Drive process efficiency and support key project initiatives led by Global CSR.
Ensure Credit Risk Policy and Procedures are adhered to when assessing new clients and renewals of existing clients.
Responsible for coordinating global monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc dashboard and reporting for management.
Support cross-functional collaboration by contributing and providing appropriate advice from a credit perspective.
Lead complex projects and meetings, deliver presentations and able to interact with all levels of management as well as Client senior management.
Your Background
Bachelor\'s in Finance or equivalent and knowledge across Financial Institutions, Corporate and Fintechs. MBA or CFA preferred.
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years managing the collateral portfolio and analyzing banks/non-bank financial institutions or corporates/fintechs in Asia Pacific.
Experience at both understanding and managing quantitative credit rating models (Banks and Corporates).
Ability to clearly articulate results after analyzing large scales of data to senior management as the basis for making key credit decisions.
Good eye for details noting discrepant financial trends in data analytics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present clear and concise recommendations to management.
Payment industry knowledge a plus.
Proficient in MS Office.
Able to effectively manage competing deadlines to meet business expectations and projects in a fast-paced environment.
