Planning of drawings submission schedule and controlling the sequence and time frame for the development of drawings.
Prepare documents submission schedule to control the sequence and timing for submission/approval with preferable float time.
Report to General Manager and establish design management policy/tactics in line with General Managers intention.
Responsible for dealing with client and consultant management.
Coordinate all design-related matters with Consultants/Clients.
Ensure the main contract and sub-contract designs are coordinated to fulfill all design requirements.
Coordinate with the Contract team for any formal and informal changes made by Consultants.
Coordinate with the Contract team for the proper sequence of sub-contract awards.
Requirements:
At least a Master / Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering recognized by relevant bodies (e.g. LTA, P.E Board, etc)
Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in the LTA MRT projects
At least 15 years of design coordination experience.
Civil Engineering and Consultant background in construction experience are highly preferred.
Good knowledge of local authority requirements and engineering standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to organize and control activities of Design Members.
Familiar with 2D and 3D Modelling management.
Ability to multi-task, analyze and synthesize complex issues quickly.
