Summary:

The role involves developing a comprehensive understanding of the company\'s IT infrastructure and implementing network security solutions to combat cybersecurity threats. Responsibilities include providing technical support for various network security domains, establishing, and maintaining workflows and procedures aligned with IT security policies, enhancing monitoring and incident response processes, ensuring compliance with audit requirements, and managing team development. The position also involves engaging with stakeholders, managing budgets, and performing administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company\'s IT infrastructure as it relates to business and operational applications. Design, implement, and take ownership of network security products/solutions to address evolving cybersecurity threats, providing 24x7 technical operations support.
• Offer technical and operational assistance for network security domains and devices, including DMZ, NGFW, NAC, VPN, and Security Policy Management tools.
• Develop, maintain, and review workflows, processes, baselines, and standard operating procedures in alignment with IT security policies, standards, guidelines, and frameworks.
• Define, execute, automate, and improve monitoring, detection, data collection, and analysis of network security activities to effectively manage network security KPIs and risk ratings.
• Establish, execute, automate, and enhance incident handling and response processes, including post-incident analysis, forensics, and reporting.
• Understand audit processes and compliance requirements, coordinating audit exercises accordingly.
• Coach, mentor, and foster the professional development of team members.
• Proactively engage with users and stakeholders to address their needs and maintain a positive professional image.
• Manage project and operational expenses budgets and handle other administrative functions as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Achieved a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science. Possession of industry-recognized security certifications and relevant experience in the following areas is preferred:
• Proficiency in network administration skillsets.
• Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP), QoS, route-map, PBR.
• Experience in switching technologies such as Stack, VSS, VDC, VPC, FHRP, FEX, Link aggregation, and port security.
• Proficient in firewall administration using platforms such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, and Cisco Next Generation Firewall. Certifications like CCNP (Security), NSE (5 and above), PCNSE, etc., are desirable.
• Familiarity with Network Access Control & Management tools such as Cisco ISE and Aruba Clearpass.
• Knowledge of Security Policy Management tools like Algosec.
