Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their dynamic organisation. This individual will play a pivotal role in designing and developing their data analytics platform, ensuring that business users have timely access to accurate data. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the end-to-end data visualization cycle, encompassing data identification, mapping, extraction, cleaning, and visualization. Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of Business Intelligence/Analytics solutions, including the rollout and ongoing management.
• Build dashboards and reports that cater to the specific needs of stakeholders.
• Design and develop models for Data Warehousing (DWH) or data marts, including data structure, storage, and integration.
• Write complex SQL queries and demonstrate proficiency in building and designing databases.
• Source data to data warehouse models and create strategies for acquiring and integrating data into the data platform.
• Utilize prior experience in business intelligence/ETL development to enhance data processes.
• Demonstrate proficiency in both Windows and Linux systems.
• Work with various database technologies, including relational, columnar, and NoSQL (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, Vertica, MongoDB).
• Apply data modeling skills, encompassing conceptual, logical, and physical models (star/snowflake schemas).
• Effectively partner with business teams to understand and address their data needs.
• Familiarity with both Windows and Linux systems.
• Knowledge of database technologies, including relational, columnar, and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, Vertica, MongoDB).
• Data modeling skills, including conceptual, logical, and physical models (star/snowflake schemas).
