Job Description

The role offers an opportunity to work within one of the world\'s leading financial institutions with cutting-edge innovation in its DNA. Fronting a multi-year program and working on a greenfield program. Sitting within the infrastructure space, primarily with data centers and all its infrastructure.
The Position:

• Program Manager for Data Center Infrastructure Build
• Work with cross business application teams to ensure applications meet the Data Center entry criteria and migrations complete within migration window
• Work with cross business and Product teams partners to identify product requirements and ensure timely availability to support application migrations
• Work with Global Network Services and application teams to ensure that business partner connections are aligned to new Data Centers
• Provide subject matter expertise on Data Center Entry Criteria and Strategic Data Center capabilities, providing training to product and application owners
• Ensure all projects are delivered with high quality, on scope, on time & on budget
• Provide governance and controls to ensure effective risk and issue identification, resolution and escalation as required
• Budget / Financial Management, to include developing business cases, forecasting, understanding P&L, depreciation etc.
• Keep all projects on track, escalating decisions to executive sponsors as necessary
• Ensure risk management strategies are followed and reviewed within guidelines
• Plan and set project goals and milestones
• Manage requirements with a clearly defined and measurable acceptance criteria
• Identify and secure resources including project team, vendors and consultants
• Detect and solve project issues effectively
• Ensure project management standards and rigor are applied
• Act as the communications conduit to executive sponsor & project stakeholders; conducts regularly scheduled briefings/status updates
• Prepare and/or provide project reporting, metrics, scorecards, etc.
• Partner with key stakeholders to identify project inter-dependencies that may influence project success

Requirements:

• 10 - 12 years of relevant experience with projects in multiple technologies, functions
• Substantial IT Program Management experience of high valued projects with high complexity and client focus, or relevant business or team leadership
• Proven experience at delivering high quality projects on time & within budget
• Strong senior stakeholder management skills and focus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to lead project teams in delivering on time, high quality solutions
• environments backed by a solid understanding of the banking industry fundamentals
• Understanding of Agile methodology
• An understanding of line of business technology drivers
