Senior daTa Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build Cost-Effective data infrastructure with an emphasis on ease of maintenance
• Ownership of end-to-end data pipelines and automation of data quality reporting process to ensure data integrity
• Design, architecture and implement data model using cloud-native infrastructure and services to solve from MVP to scale
• Workflow flexibility and strong teamwork skills
• Collaboration with SME/Software engineers and Data Science experts

Ideal Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Data analytics or Data Sciences with 5+ years of experience
• Relevant work/internship experience applying data science concepts in a business environment
• Advanced knowledge of Big Data development under distributed computing platforms such as Spark, Hadoop, etc and familiarity with modern relational and non-relational databases
• Experience in container technology such as Docker/Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of Linux Shell scripting
• Familiarity with version control tool such as Git and CI/CD DevOps flow
• Experience in building & maintaining data pipelines with both structured and unstructured data sources
• Experience in AWS cloud native computing elements
• Proficiency with data wrangling and visualization
• Having any of the following is considered a plus:
• Statistical knowledge for data analytics and modelling
• Working knowledge of Julia, Golang, Lambda Serverless, Step Functions, Event Bridge, Kinesis, Kafka, Glue, Athena, Neptune, Graph / Multi-modal databases
