Senior Data Engineer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with Product Owners, Architects and other team members in Scrum team to achieve common goals
Collaborate with Engineers and Scientist on innovative analytical features
Design & implement a modern ELT and custom data integrations
Analyse existing data sets and future business needs to design and implement data management framework
Create data set processes used in modeling, mining, acquisition, and verification
Work within development team to design the data flow and data storage. Provide guideline to developer in implementation
Investigate issues from data point of view. Support stakeholder on the update, automation and mining of data
Work with Operation team to conduct Database maintenance, housekeeping and performance tuning together
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
Excellent skills in ELT, data pipelines, fetching data from APIs
Experience to performing data processing, building data models and conducting data analysis on MongoBD and MySQL
Experience working on AWS cloud infrastructure
Proficiency with Java, PHP, Python, Talend, Spark and Kafka
Good knowledge and familiar with MongoDB database administration
5+ years of proven track record as a Data Engineer
Effective self-starter who excels in a lean and fast-paced organization
