We build and serve AI models to empower our pax\' ride hailing experience in Grab. Our primary goals are to enhance our passenger experience, and drive decision-making that contributes to user growth and platform efficiencyGet to know the roleAs a Senior Data Scientist in the Mobility Data Science team, you will report into the Senior Data Science Manager and be based onsite in Singapore. We leverage on your mathematical modelling, statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and programming proficiency to drive data-driven decisions and help us conquer unique challenges in the ride-hailing industry. Your contributions will directly impact user growth and platform efficiency, shaping the future of Grab\'s ride-hailing business.The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will navigate through large datasets in geospatial, behavioral, economic data, and millions of interactions from our passengers to uncover insights that can enhance our passengers\' experience and make our network more efficient.
• You will design and deploy data science solutions to address critical business challenges. This may encompass enhancing user experience, promoting user growth, managing supply and demand equilibrium, and improving our services. You will build machine learning models like ride demand forecasting, passenger preference prediction, and passenger churn prediction.
• You will enhance our models through iterative improvements and A/B testing.
• You will translate needs into data solutions, and help implement and deploy these solutions at scale through collaborations with software engineers, product managers, and operational teams.
• You will stay up-to-date with the latest technology for innovation and contribute to the team\'s creation of new ideas and intellectual property.

QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need

• We are looking for Master Degree graduate who has spent at least three years of experience in a field like Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Solid experience as a Data Scientist within Tech or related industries.
• You are well-versed in machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and algorithmic foundations of optimisation.
• You are familiar with machine learning frameworks like Tensorflow or Pytorch, and proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Python or Scala.
• You are able to foster collaboration with cross functional teams and articulate insights to diverse audiences with or without Tech background.
