The Role

Data & Analytics in the Asia Pacific is a new Veeva venture with the aim of using Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning to help Life Sciences improve healthcare engagement and patient outcomes. If you are excited about building a new offering in a start-up environment, developing and scaling analytics solutions, and working with a diverse, international group of expert colleagues, then this role could be right for you.

The Data Scientist will establish the big data environment for the data analytic team and apply advanced data science, ML, and big data techniques to build different analytical models e.g. sales forecast model, causal inference, etc to support business decisions.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do

• Design, and build data pipelines to support BA, machine learning models, and all data-driven products
• Develop and maintain data storage systems including data warehouse and data lakes
• Apply ML algorithms to mine insights from diversified datasets
• Deploy ML models
• Work with the analytics consulting team to understand business requests and translate them into data engineering and data scientist solutions
• Documentation of all tech designs

Requirements

• 2+ relevant working experiences
• Experience with cloud-based data storage and computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Proficiency in Python or Java, and experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL
• Experience with ETL tools and techniques
• Practical expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling
• Experience with model deployment and pipelines

Nice to Have

• Certification in ML systems for Azure or AWS or GCP
• Knowledge of database technologies such as NoSQL, and graph databases
