We are seeking a Senior Data Solution Designer who will be responsible to consult, design and deliver Data Solutions for Singtel. You will be part of Group IT - Data & Platform Management (DPM) team. In this position you will work with business, IT, and data professionals to drive Singtel data and insights transformation for our business and customers.

Make an Impact by:

• Analyze, estimates, design, development, testing, and production roll-out of projects
• Consult the users with the understanding of business and data requirements for initial concepts and prototypes.
• Design and create data visualization (reports and dashboards) using techniques for guided analytics, interactive dashboard design and visual best practices
• Deliver dashboards to convey the story points of the data
• Design, development and maintenance of a reporting framework including creation of enterprise reporting, ad-hoc query and analysis
• Review, approve and manage delivery of data and reporting projects
• Conduct data analysis of large transaction data sets
• Perform data preparation or / and data modelling
• Apply best practices and techniques to ensure best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the developed solutions
• Create user guide, conduct user training and demo of solutions / tools
• Provide user support, guidance and troubleshooting
• Setup and maintain security access control including user administration, site management
• Acting as mentor and subject matter expert for data solutions across the organization
• Contribute to Singtel Data & Analytics architecture, technology, and roadmap

Skills for Success

• Bachelor\'s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the design and development data and analytics solutions and Business Intelligence
• Strong hands-on experience on Power BI
• Strong hands-on experience on Dimensional Modelling
• Strong knowledge in SQL
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and
• Experience in creating mock-ups and prototyping
• Experience in storytelling with data
• Experience in analyzing business/data requirements, delivering design and estimate, development, testing and production deployment of reporting and dashboards projects
• Experience in performance fine-tuning of queries,
• Experience in data preparation and data engineering
• Experience in security administration, design, and setup of authorization and user management
• Experience in creating user guides and conducting user training
• Understanding and experience with the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
• Experience in cloud data warehouses like Databricks Lakehouse
