Job Description
Responsibilities:
Resolve complex issues with clients, sub-contractors, and/or suppliers which is not able to be handled by subordinates. Direct project team members to gather competitive pricing from suppliers and sub-contractors to secure new marine civil engineering projects. Identify key staff to lead the project and delegate responsibilities Personnel management and development
Requirements
Recognized Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognized University Minimum 8 years relevant experience in a main contractor with involvement in marine facility projects or equivalent Candidates who have a Master Degree in Civil Engineering will have an advantage. Proficient in Design software: SAP2000, Plaxis, Slope W or equivalent Experienced in Eurocode/BS or other codes. Excellent understanding of Value Engineering principles Experienced in marine, dredging and reclamation works in tender and actual projects. Positive working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge of Japanese Codes and Standards is preferable. Experienced in management and supervising construction works is an advantage. * Experienced in ODA projects is advantageous.
