About the role We are looking for a talented technical professional to join our engineering team in Singapore as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer. You should be keen on working in a fast paced, quickly scaling, start-up environment. If you are motivated and results-driven, we’d like to meet you.

Scope of the role Strategy & Architecture

• Design and architect a robust and scalable cloud infrastructure to support the iLex trading platform
• Plan, provide and own the DevSecOps roadmap
• Advise on technology and architecture choices related to the cloud infrastructure

Operational Management

• Spearhead release management initiatives. Manage and continuously strive to improve the CI/CD process
• Provisioning cloud resources and automate implementation using the terraform IaC
• Build, manage and maintain the microservices platform hosted on Kubernetes (AWS EKS)
• Monitor performance and availability of the applications on the AWS platform
• Manage and maintain the overall day to day AWS infrastructure operations
• Monitor and optimizing cost
• Implementation & management of security policies

Technology Risk Management

• Be a part of technology risk management initiatives supporting the entire application lifecycle

What we look for:

• Minimum 5 years' experience working in complex enterprise grade software development, ideally with hands-on experience in fintech or sophisticated digital marketplaces
• Proficiency and hands-on experience with the AWS (3 years) cloud platform
• Sound concepts in IaC and ability to develop and maintain terraform (2 years) scripts.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub actions, code pipeline, Jenkins etc.
• Knowledge of microservices / containerized / serverless architectures and experience with Kubernetes
• Experience in helm charts is a plus
• Experience with cloud-compatible monitoring tools (CloudWatch preferred or any New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Nagios, Datadog etc...)
• Appetite and basic knowledge and interest in new technologies (machine learning, blockchain, AI, cybersecurity)
