Who We Need
The Senior / Dietitian will be responsible for providing a holistic, evidence-based nutrition and dietetics services for our patients and their caregivers. Individual should possess passion in promoting health for our patients and the wider community.
The Senior Dietitian will provide guidance, mentoring, training and educate the students on clinical placements and participate in the teaching of healthcare professionals.
The responsibilities are as stated below.
To provide a comprehensive nutrition assessment, nutrition support, counselling and education in collaboration with the patient and carer, within a multi-disciplinary team.
To adopt an evidence-based approach to practice by utilizing the latest scientific evidence including the use of critical thinking and clinical reasoning.
To recognize the multi-factorial and inter-connected health and social determinants influencing nutrition and health.
How to Succeed
Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics/Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics / Postgraduate diploma in Dietetics.
Completed clinical dietetic internship in an approved institution, preferably 3 to 6 months duration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passionate with working with people and the community.
Excellent team player and able to work independently in running clinical services and food service management at the hospital and at nursing homes.
Willing to travel different nursing homes around Singapore.
For the Senior Dietitian position, the candidate should have a minimum of 3 years\' clinical experience.
