Job Description

:The candidate shall have the expertise/responsibilities in several of the following fields:

• Lithium-Ion Battery System Design and Testing.
• Designing, Supervising and Commissioning of utility scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Techno Economic assessment of BESS investments.
• Commercial operation of BESS in ancillary service markets.
• BESS project level safety assessment frameworks and safety due diligence.
• Electrical design of battery-based energy storage technology. Detailed knowledge of key system components such as: PCS, BMS, EMS and SCADA etc.
• Applicable codes, standards and regulations for BESS in Australia, South-East Asia, USA, Europe etc. with a focus on APAC.
• Be aware and develop expertise in fundamental aspects and main characteristics of current battery technologies and relate them to battery parameters.
• Prepare FAT and integration test plan for BESS systems. Technical review of documents provided by vendors.
• Project management of bids and projects throughout their life cycle.
• Tendering process and bid evaluations for BESS investments.

• A bachelor\'s, master\'s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (or a closely related field).
• Bilingual: Local Language and highest proficiency in English
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the BESS industry.
• Client management, team management and process management skills.
• Project Management and Strong interpersonal skills with experience in an international multicultural environment.
