Our client is a Energy Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior Mechanical Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.
Job Responsibilities:
Align the mechanical department's objectives with overall business and organizational goals.
Develop and advise on long-term mechanical maintenance plans, including CAPEX/OPEX budgeting, monitoring, and scheduling of maintenance and project work.
Plan and implement mechanical system and equipment modifications, upgrades, and installations to enhance reliability and availability.
Manage procurement of spare parts and services to support maintenance requirements, including vendor contracts and administrative oversight.
Lead and oversee a team of engineers, technical officers, and technicians to handle plant issues and downtime, ensuring timely resolution and restoration.
Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve plant performance and drive business results through optimized maintenance, equipment reliability, debottlenecking, and efficient work practices.
Manage and guide team members in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of plant issues
All other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
Min Degree in Mechanical Engineering studies or equivalent.
Min 12 years of relevant experience, including 8 years in a management role within power generation or related industries.
Strong technical expertise in mechanical maintenance would be advantageous.
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for effective stakeholder management.
