Responsibles for preparation of MDR (Main Drawing List) for electrical discipline
Prepares Electrical Design Basis, Specification, Data Sheet of Electrical Equipment.
Coordinates with multiple disciplines on interface issues with telecom, instrument, safety disciplines
Performs load calculation for project assigned, preparation & submission of load list
Performs sizing calculation for transformers, generators, UPS and batteries etc.
Performs cable sizing calculation to include volt drop calculation, circuit breakers sizing and others
Performs lightning calculation as per specified lux requirement before lighting layout
MTO for bulk material
Reviews engineering deliverables from detailed engineering consultant / equipment vendors to meet project specifications
Supporting procurement team with technical clarifications
Monitoring and reporting of engineering progress
Other adhoc duties as given
Requirements:
Bachelor in Electrical/Electronic or other relevant disciplines
Minimum 10 years of design and engineering experience in Offshore oil and gas platform
Experience of basic engineering and detailed engineering
May be required to work beyond normal working hours
Able to handle work under tight schedule
Proficiency in written & spoken English
Good contractual knowledge
Knowledge in Microsoft Office products
Experience and knowledge with 3D software (PDMS & E3D)
Experience with Navisworks
