Develop the implementation and test strategies for volume manufacturing for new product/improvement/sustaining projects.
Responsible for the design, coordination, and completion of new products or improvements/sustaining of existing products, design projects, and programs in accordance with processes, standards, and ISO9001. * Collaborate with other functional engineering teams locally and globally to meet the overall product requirements.
Research new technology and its suitable implementation in the product line.
Interact optimally and provide technical support to local and overseas manufacturing facilities, procurement teams, and sales & marketing organizations.
Put in place systems, processes, tools and resource capability in local EE team and lab to ensure project objectives are met within agreed timeline, budget, and appropriate standards that aligns with the business goals.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
Experience in analog circuit design is preferred
Knowledge to analyze a variety of data to develop schematics, designs, specifications, part lists, and make recommendations regarding these items.
Experience in using schematic capture and board layout software such as Altium or Cadence.
Commanding knowledge of electronic test equipment including scopes, meters, signal generators, etc.
Familiarity to standards: EMC, hazardous location, functional safety, as well as ISO9001.
Good spoken and written English communication skills.
Effective technical communication and documentation.
Solid understanding of PC applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
