We are representing a global Automotive Tier 1 Supplier (MNC) who has a huge R&D presence in Singapore in recruiting for their R&D Embedded Software Development team. We are representing them in recruiting for the Platform Development team. This is a team of roughly 120+ Embedded Software Engineers in Singapore working on platform development of a new Android Launcher.

Senior / Embedded Software Development Engineer Platform Development (20 vacancies available)

Responsibilities

• As part of the Embedded Software – Platform team; you will be part of a team working to analyze customer function, HW design or system design requirements and create or update software requirement specification accordingly.
• Design innovative and robust software that meets Software requirement Specification.
• Implement software modules under guidelines of automotive embedded SW according to Software Coding & Design Rules.
• Validate software design, module interface and module functionality on Test Bench and fill up test reports
• Organize and hold design peer reviews or architecture reviews with SW Architects.
• Communication and cooperation with team members to identify and implement development improvement activities.
• Support EE engineering team with implementation of test software according to their needs.
• Support System engineering team on the performance of functional tests on System Bench.
• More experienced candidates will be considered for the Lead / Senior Engineer roles.

Requirements

• Masters or Bachelor Engineering Degree with at least 2-3 years’ experience in embedded and real time programming and related microcontroller architecture
• Exhibit understanding of Semiconductor Specifications for HW components and HW design schematics
• Knowledge on test equipment (oscilloscopes, BDM, Emulator, CANoe etc.)
• Fluent / advanced level in written and spoken English
• Effective Communication, correct understanding & clear presentation
• Commitment to Quality, Timing and Cost of his / her software work package
