Position Summary

We are seeking a

Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

who will be responsible for the product embedded systems architecture designed to deploy Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. This role focuses on selecting and implementing the most effective AI embedded systems and architectures to meet product requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate, implement and deliver AI products and technologies through effective collaboration, technical execution and clear communication to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

System Evaluation and Design

Research, evaluate and benchmark embedded platforms and architectures to meet product requirements. Recommend and own overall system architecture, ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Bring up hardware platforms, perform low-level programming and validate system functionalities. Drive proof-of-concept initiatives and maintain documentation of designs, requirements, specifications and testing.

Product Development and Integration

Lead the development team in integrating system architecture into final products, considering manufacturability and scalability. Set up evaluation environments to validate use cases and measure application performance. Develop and oversee test plans, including user testing, debugging and validation for system quality. Review evaluation results, gather user feedback and translate findings into actionable product improvements.

Project Management and Innovation

Plan, set up workflows, execute and monitor project milestones, ensuring deliverables are met on time. Conduct research and collaborate with external stakeholders to stay up to date with embedded AI technologies and industry standards. Continuously improving evaluation methods, development practices and innovation processes.

Requirements

Min. Degree

in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or related engineering field.

Min. 5 years

of relevant experience in a similar role, with

hands-on experience

in system designing, developing and evaluating in both embedded hardware and software. Deep understanding of

microcontroller (MCU)

,

neural processor unit (NPU)

and

central processor unit (CPU)

architectures, with experience in multiple operating systems and low-level programming. Proficiency in

Python

and

C/C++

, with strong debugging skills for complex embedded systems. Experience with GPU-accelerated computing, including

CUDA

and

TensorRT

, is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic development environment, adapting to changing requirements with initiative and persistence. Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, capable of translating complex technical and business requirements into effective solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, fluency in Chinese is a plus for effective interaction with Chinese-speaking stakeholders. * Candidates must meet legal requirements to work in Singapore
