This position is based in Shanghai, China, and will be responsible for the following:
Design DHCS (District Heating and Cooling Systems) or HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning) systems for potential greenfield and brownfield projects in China using CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD/Revit to create 2D drawings that include equipment layouts, plant configurations with equipment schedules, design schematic diagrams, piping layouts, etc.
Review plants\xe2\x80\x99 operations in existing buildings (brownfield projects) and provide improvement proposals/plans with a data driven approach to enhance overall plant efficiency and implement/introduce sustainable solutions to attain local and international certification in sustainable design such as the China Green Building Label, LEED certification, WELL certification, etc.
Research innovative and smart technologies in the heating and cooling domains, with a focus on smart energy management platforms, renewable energy technologies and energy storage systems
Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor/the head of department from time to time
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Major in HVAC or Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor\'s Degree or above)
Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC design for new buildings and/or major HVAC retrofits for existing buildings in China or related industries
Familiar with deployment and integration of renewable energy sources and energy efficient technologies (e.g., energy storage systems) in China
Familiar with the national codes and regulations in China
Proficient in using CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD/Revit
Possesses good language skills and able to present effectively to customers
