This role is a technical lead role for the InterReality Technologies development team, with the objectives of transforming education and deepening research impact in NUS. You will enable and establish new evidence-based pedagogies by leveraging on state-of-the-art technologies to enhance the education experiences for in NUS. You will also collaborate and partner with faculties in developing teaching and learning applications that are highly innovative and automated to bring about efficient processes and business savings.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Evaluate, propose and recommend new technologies for development in order to provide IT technical consultancy as a partner/co-investigator
• Lead and perform a leadership role of application design and development in order to achieve synergy of development in the working team
• Plan, manage/mitigate risks and provide direct support for application deployments, achieving smooth delivery of teaching and learning at faculties
• Execute management of team development or outsourcing procurement development, ensuring successful and timely completion of development
• Execute IT outsourcing using best practices, achieiving transparent, fair, strategic and appropriate contract awards to development vendors

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Sciences, Game Design, Information Systems, Interactive Media or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience in IT solutioning for design and development (applications and systems)
• Experience in developing Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality/Artificial Intelligence applications
• Excellent programming mileage in development environments using Unity 3D and/or Unreal 3D
• Has experience in mobile app or games publishing to app stores
• Exposure and experience in application UI/UX design
• Sharp analytical skills and a team player
• Verbal and written communication skills is a plus
• Good understanding of software development life cycle
• Ability to interpret technical requirements to develop robust solutions
• Exposure and experience in IT systems integration, cloud computing, data security and virtualization is a plus.
• Passionate about supporting development of IT Systems and Applications
• Knowledge and awareness in domains of emerging technologies like metaverse and savvy with new media are highly regarded
