* Coordinates preparation or prepares key project documentation, project specifications, calculations, engineering data, equipment and material lists for project bid preparation und Coordinates preparation or prepares key project documentation, project specifications, calculations, engineering data, equipment and material lists for project bid preparation under the supervision of senior team members Manages project document and controls technical documentation across disciplines Prepares and updates all engineering project management document as per changes with supervision from senior team members, when required Prepares schedule, pre-planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to the project, ensuring all activities are kept within the project budget Participates in project meeting, reports on the project status and attends to basic technical queries and issues including reviewing the performance of vendors/ subcontractors in the project Liaises with customers, vendors, consultants and cross-functional team to coordinate project plan and handles technical issues in order to meet the project schedule Coordinates and collates project documentation for submission Maintains awareness in best practices for engineering project management to identify opportunities for improvement in the work processes Proposes methods and tools to monitor project budget, expenditures and materials procurement costing and utilisation to improve and better manage project costs at the engineering stage Coordinates with classification authorities, subcontractors/ vendors and relevant stakeholders on the latest initiatives to improve particular areas of concern in the project Requirements Master or Bachelor degree in Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering or related disciplines 10 years or more working experiences in Offshore Marine Industries Basic knowledge on structural calculations and scantling sizes for ship and offshore structures Knowledge on Weight optimization studies and related analysis, Strength and buckling calculations and derive minimum required sizes of structural elements in accordance to class requirements Knowledge on local structural analysis, load analysis, global structural and spectral fatigue analysis of offshore floating structure In depth understanding of related to the above analysis rule requirements - DNV, ABS Competent in DNV, SESAM, Nastran & Patran ANSYS, StaaD.Pro , Auto-Cad and MS Office Our Address and work hours Sembcorp Marine Ltd - Tuas Boulevard Yard 80 Tuas South Boulevard, Singapore 637051 (Islandwide transport provided) Mon-Thu: 7.30am - 5.15pm Fri: 7.30am - 4.15pm Sembcorp Marine Ltd - Admiralty Yard 60 Admiralty Road West, Singapore 759947 (Transport provided from Sembawang MRT) Mon-Fri: 8am - 5:30pm Interested candidates are invited to send us an updated resume with your current and expected salary and earliest availability by clicking APPLY NOW'.
