What the role is:

As the master planner and developer of Singapore\'s industrial landscape, JTC is doing our part to help the nation achieve the vision of the Singapore Green Plan 2030. Facilities management (FM) plays an integral and key role in the pursuit of the environment\'s sustainability. We are looking for passionate, resourceful, energetic and self-motivated individuals to join us as part of a dynamic Sustainability Team to formulate sustainability strategies, identify sustainability related solutions, work with internal and external (i.e. other government agencies) to formulate sustainability related policies to drive FM\'s sustainability and decarbonization efforts. What you will be working on:

• Oversee the development and implementation of sustainability strategy for facilities management operation \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deploy decarbonization solutions and ensure alignment with sustainability goals \xe2\x80\xa2 Key integrator to co-ordinate and integrate across various Facilities Management Divisions\' sustainability/decarbonization initiatives \xe2\x80\xa2 Testbed and pilot new decarbonisation technologies \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure compliance with Government Procurement and financial procedures \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor trends and develop new initiatives to meet Facilities Management Divisions\' goals \xe2\x80\xa2 Produce sustainability performance reports

What we are looking for:

• Background in Environmental/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical Engineering with relevant work experience in the sustainability field \xe2\x80\xa2 Good interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders on sustainability and environmental issues \xe2\x80\xa2 A sound team player and IT savvy with digitalisation skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical skills to sense make underlying trends and development from both structured and unstructured information sources \xe2\x80\xa2 Sound planning and organizing skills, with a strong sense of responsibility for completing assigned duties on time We welcome fresh graduates without working experience to apply for the Engineer role.
