Job Description

What the role is:
You will part of JTC's Environmental Baseline Study (EBS) team that protect the environmental well-being of Singapore industrial estates. As a JTC Environmental Engineer, you will be involved in evaluation of EBS report submitted by companies when they take and return land to JTC. You will also involved in the formulation of policy of EBS to ensure its relevance to prevailing guidelines and international practice.
What you will be working on:
Your responsibilities include 1) Act as a EBS policy holder, you will be involved in formulation and updating of EBS policy 2) Evaluate EBS reports submitted by companies and also provide guidance to team members in evaluating EBS reports. 3) Manage JTC's appointed EBS advisor in evaluating complex EBS reports
What we are looking for:
Background in an environmental engineering or chemical engineering degree with at least 5 year of experience in conducting Environmental Site Assessment (ESA)/ Environmental Baseline Study (EBS). Experience in remediation of land will be and advantage.
