About the role - you will:

• Work with recording media process and equipment matter experts to identify, prioritize and answer important process and operation needs through your experience, technical knowledge, analytical mind, with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Execute Industry 4.0 projects for media equipment team
• Liaise with equipment supplier to get the best equipment for the company
• Demonstrate as a great team player
• Guide technical teams and display results
• Advise on technical solution
• Resolve maintenance and manufacturing issues
• Use principles to improve engineering performance

About you:

• Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Solid work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Solid technical knowledge on wet-bench equipment
• Demonstrate Leadership skills – Ability to lead a team, mentor junior staff and close out technical projects
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter
• Ability to drive initiatives and influence
• Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment
• A collaborative attitude and a global mindset
• Able to participate in conference calls outside of regular local work hours
• Strong mechanical design knowledge
• Strong project management skill
• Leads the use of technical practices to get good results

Your experience includes:

• Manufacturing environment
• Experience in Mechanical designing and Project management
• Knowledge in Equipment layout, Wet-Bench, and other Industry 4.0 areas would be advantageous

Location:

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass-transportation to work. Ample free on-site parking is also available.
