What the role is:Senior Engineer / Healthcare Engineering CentreWhat you will be working on:

• Lead the R&D project team, including planning, coordination, and supervision
• Mentor the R&D team in his/her area of expertise
• Constantly engage in innovative ideas and collaborative initiatives in technological innovation and industry consultancy work for potential new projects
• Apply R&D grant application as a Principal Investigator (PI)
• Collaborate with industry companies and other research institutions for project development
• Conceptualize inventions leading to legally enforceable & impactful IPs
• Communicate with internal and external project collaborators for progress reporting and potential commercialization of deliverables
• Student training and project supervision

What we are looking for:

• Qualification in Electronics / Biomedical Engineering or related disciplines
• 10-15 years of R&D working experience in project planning and execution, and collaborate with local companies for commercialization
• Skills in IoT system and electronic circuit design, Embedded system development and system integration, Firmware coding, Programming & Software.
• A self-starter who works well in cross-functional capacities
• Possess skills for integrating different disciplines of knowledge
• Dynamic, versatile, adaptive and thrives in ever-changing and innovative environments
• Flexible, embrace life-long learning and has a growth mindset
• Good interpersonal communication and documentation/presentation skills
