The Senior Engineer, IDAM Services will be responsible to implement and manage the Modern Identity and Access Management platform - SailPoint to the entire suite of applications within the Singtel Organization.

He/She will drive the migration of current Identity and Access Management platform to the new platform SailPoint. Subsequently on-boarding new applications to SailPoint platform in phases and ensuring that SailPoint platform is stable and providing a good end user experience in terms of access provisioning.

Make an Impact by

  • Actively participate in implementing the new IDAM (SailPoint) tool for all Singtel Applications.
  • Ensure that the new IDAM tool architecture is designed with security best practices.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to perform Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management in day-to-day management of IDAM tool.
  • Support escalation for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems within Identity and Access Management.
  • Perform the role of Subject Matter Expert for complex issues related to IDAM.
  • Close collaboration with Operation teams for performing daily service monitoring, verifying the security, integrity, and availability of IDAM infrastructure.
  • Ensure Identity and Access management comply with Singtel policies, standards and operational guidelines.
  • Maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate SOPs.
  • Develops, documents, and enforces the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of the IDAM system.
  • Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
  • Take pro-active approach in mitigating all the operational issues together with the Operation team.
  • Manage customer satisfaction through effectively communicating and managing customer expectations.
  • Continuously driving process improvements related to IDAM areas.
  • Close collaboration with AD architect and team where necessary for continuous Service improvements.
  • Ensure that the Operational SLAs are met as per the guidelines.
  • Drive and Manage change management activities pertaining to Identity and Access Management.
  • Collaborate and co-creation with other Singtel entities in IDAM domain.
  • Continuously strive for simplifying request management and fulfillment
  • Work closely with all Singtel entities application owners for seamless on-boarding and off-boarding of applications into IDAM tool.
  • Think always from the security / audit perspective and take actions accordingly related to IDAM.
Skills for Success
  • At least 8 years of experience working with Identity and Access Management technologies.
  • Expert knowledge in administering Modern identity and Access Management tool. (ex, SailPoint, OKTA)
  • Expert knowledge of Active Directory LDAP protocol.
  • Experience in IDAM connectors (Azure, O365, Database, Web Service, Active Directory, Exchange, Flat file etc) and development experience in custom connector development
  • Experience in handling lifecycle management of user in a maintenance environment. Working with incidents, incident management etc.
  • Well versed with provisioning de-provisioning using RBAC, SSO access control, SoD violation, compliance requirements related to access & privileges
  • Must have deep and thorough understanding of monitoring best practices, and compliance to best practices for security and operations.
  • Knowledge on SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS components.
  • Expert in Identity and Access Management Operational issues and must have demonstrated problem solving capabilities.
  • Must have experience in categorizing IDAM applications complexity level.
  • Must have sound expertise in providing operational consultation to the team.
  • Sound knowledge in ITIL framework.
  • Expert knowledge of Modern IDAM tool. Preferred SailPoint.
  • Expert knowledge of simplifying seamless application access life cycle management.
  • Exposure to JAVA, java scripting, J2EE development - a plus
  • Good knowledge of REST / SOAP API methodologies.
