BW Offshore is looking for a Senior Process Safety Performance Engineer to join our Operational Integrity team in Singapore. This role will be responsible for the development of the Operational Performance Standards (OPS) for Safety Critical Elements (SCE) and the customisation of a commercial Barrier Management (BM) solution for managing the risks of barrier health and assurance deviations as part of FPSO operations. Key tasks and responsibilities

• Gather and understand contractual and statutory requirements relevant to the scope of delivery
• Engage the Asset team, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the Client to capture and address requirements and expectations on performance assurance and barrier management in operations
• Develop and agree the OPS templates for asset and human barriers
• Identify and classify all safety critical barriers down to tag level
• Populate the OPS capturing performance requirements, pass / fail criteria, assurance activities, competence requirements and applicable codes and standards
• Facilitate workshops as required to capture the inputs of SMEs and barrier owners to the population of the OPS
• With support from the BM solution vendor, outline the barrier model fundamental to the BM system and identify the health and performance assurance indicators for all barriers
• Develop operational bowtie diagrams to implement the BM system facilitating workshops as required
• Support IT resources for implementation and testing of the BM system
• Develop training plans and training material
• Implement training plan up to handover of the systems to the Asset team

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master\'s Degree in Process Safety, Chemical, Mechanical or Marine Engineering
• Long relevant experience may replace formal qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years in the offshore Oil & Gas industry, or closely related industry
• Experience is performance assurance and verification in operation phase
• Previous experience in Australian-regulated environment is desirable

• Should be familiar with most relevant international Codes and Standards in their area of expertise
• Good awareness of best practices across the industry
