Summary

The Quality Control Engineer is directly reporting to the Head, QA Branch. Operationally, he will interact with the Division /Department /Project Manager to render his QAQC support. With regards to the quality performance in Division /Department /Project QA/QC activities, his responsibilities includes the following:


Key Job Accountabilities

Maintain and implement quality program for the activities in the Division /Department /Project to meet the Division /Department /Project quality objectives and goals Liaise with customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory bodies on standards and requirements Plan & Implement the QC functions in Division /Department /Project and if applicable, lead a team of QC personnel for these function Schedule and perform quality Inspection and audit on Division /Department /Project quality program Perform FAI and Quality Inspection ( Incoming & Outgoing ). Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to the product, process and quality system Identify and record any problem relating to the product, process and quality system Control further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming product until the non-conformities identified have been corrected. Assure the timely completion of corrective actions on deficiencies found during audit and verify its effectiveness Participate in continuous improvement programs related to the product, process and quality system
Required Qualifications & Experience

Diploma/Degree in Engineering, or a related field Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

The incumbent reports to Senior Manager, QA, Mobility Rail
