Job PurposeThe jobholder is the subject matter expert in system management for Rolling Stock (RS), reports to the Manager, Senior Manager System Management (Rolling Stock). Responsibilities include implementing plans and processes for the effective maintenance, operation, and sustainability of SMRT TRAINS' rolling stock. They assist the Manager in life cycle support, supply chain management, and system management matters. The role involves implementing long-term strategies directed by the Manager for RS Systems development through relationship management with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the jobholder participates in asset management collaboration with the Authority and SMRT stakeholders to meet license requirements.ResponsibilitiesHer/his roles and responsibilities shall include but not limited to the following areas: * Contract Negotiation & Management. Oversees contract negotiation and management, focusing on outsourcing, repair, and logistics support. The role requires expertise in mechanisms like Performance-Based Contracting and Framework Agreements. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for building collaborative relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers.
