What the role is:Senior Engineer - Senior Principal Engineer (Security & Emergency Planning)What you will be working on:
Review classification of critical physical infrastructure (CPI) and critical information infrastructure (CII) \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct periodic reviews of Licensees\' cybersecurity audit and risk assessment reports \xe2\x80\xa2 Enforce Licensees\' compliance with cybersecurity requirements stipulated in codes of practice and legislation \xe2\x80\xa2 Review and propose amendments to codes of practice to enhance cybersecurity posture of power sector\'s CIIs \xe2\x80\xa2 Engage licensees and relevant authorities on Security-by-Design process for power sector\'s CPIs \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyse evolving cybersecurity threats, issue advisories and alerts, share learning points and best practices with industry, and track Licensees\' implementation of mitigation measures \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop contingency and response plans, in consultation with agencies and Licensees, for emergency scenarios arising from critical supply chain disruptions, geopolitical tensions, climate change etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct power system reviews to identify vulnerabilities and mitigating measures for power system security and reliability \xe2\x80\xa2 Participate in power sector and inter-agency emergency planning and preparedness exercises to validate sector\'s response plans and communication process between EMA, agencies, and licensees.
What we are looking for:
Knowledge in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or InfoComm Technology (ICT), particularly in cybersecurity. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preferably with 2 years\' working experience and knowledge in the following: (i) Power generation/electricity network/gas network planning, operations, and/or maintenance; (ii) Technical regulation, cybersecurity governance/risks and compliance or emergency preparedness; and/or (iii) Security technologies, practices, network/systems architecture and design.
