Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and review engineering designs, drawings, and technical submissions for renewal and maintenance works. Ensure all designs and site works comply with project specifications, safety, and regulatory standards. Provide technical solutions and support during design coordination and construction execution. Develop and review method statements, inspection plans, and quality documentation. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues. Conduct site inspections to verify quality, safety compliance, and adherence to design intent. Monitor project progress and support the Head of Engineering & Renewal in technical reporting. Evaluate tenders, variations, and technical proposals to ensure engineering accuracy and feasibility. Mentor and guide site engineers and junior staff to strengthen overall technical capability.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).

Experience:

Minimum 6-10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure renewal, maintenance, or construction, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead engineering capacity.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of rehabilitation and renewal methodologies. Familiar with materials testing, asset inspection, and condition assessment. Knowledge of monitoring instrumentation, digital twins, or asset management systems preferred.

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership and analytical skills. Excellent coordination and stakeholder management abilities. * Clear communication and proactive problem-solving mindset.
