JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Data Engineer will be part of the team responsible for developing platform components for handing data from IoT Devices , transform and preprocess for Developing Machine learning Models.

- Support the team for Data and its Reliability using monitoring tools custom developed by the team
- Support the team in handling edge devices, provisioning and configuration.
- Support the team in developing and deploying systems which handle streaming data from IoT

- Support the team in deploying models and storing the inferences and visualizing

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities

• Analyze and organize raw data from IoT devices
• Build data systems and pipelines with the team
• Evaluate data quatlity according to the specifications
• Interpret trends and patterns using tools
• Conduct data analysis for streaming data and report on results
• Prepare data for predictive modeling
• Prepare and maintain configuration documents, code in repositories
• Combine raw information from different sources and visualize
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
• Develop modules for IoT and related tools
• Collaborate with team leads and architects on several projects

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with data analysis projects is an advantage
• Hands-on experience working with streaming data is an advantage
• Technical Expertise in writing code and maintaining it using source repositories
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python and R) and data science packages like pandas, NumPy is an advantage
• Technical expertise with data preparation and data mining and visualization using tools like grafana , Power Bi
• Experience with writing code for IoT Edge devices, provisioning and custom modules deployment with Azure SDK
• Familiarity with cloud computing (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus
• Analytical mind and business acumen
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar fields
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem solving abilities
