Responsibilities

Work with architects to understand end-to-end architecture, and individual application architecture Work with business analysts to understand business requirements Produce technical design document for assigned modules, and develop according to specification Collaborate with other developer for API integration, and system integration tests Follow good coding practice to produce clean, readable, testable, and secure code Develop, test and maintain web applications frontend using Angular/ React/JavaScript/HTML/CSS. Implement responsive web design principles to ensure the application works seamlessly on various devices and screen sizes Develop, test and maintain web application backend using Nodejs/Express, with SSR or APIs Support fortnightly deployments. Provide L3 support for production Senior developers are expected to participate in architecture/framework discussion, improve development process, and conduct code reviews Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior from time to time

Requirements



Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum 2 years development experience Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript with Typescript, and experience with React/Angular Good understanding of responsive design principles Understanding of state management Redux or equivalent Good understanding of RESTful API and able to make API in Express Knowledge of Webpack, npm and/or Yarn Good knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, and ORM; experience with NoSQL/distributed caching solutions preferred Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles Some experience with container technologies - docker/docker swarm, Kubernetes preferred Some experience with API gateway preferred Familiarity with microservice based application architecture preferred Good working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and has experience using tools such as GIT and JIRA * Some functional knowledge of telco BSS highly preferred; experience with TMF SID/Open API a big plus
