Title: Senior Engineer, Telecommunications

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of TSI/Telecoms Package
Support Telecoms Lead Engineer in all other Telecoms activities
Develop Telecoms Systems Specifications, TSI Scope of Work, and Bill of Materials
Prepare Telecoms systems block diagram sketches
Review Telecoms systems studies such as PAGA coverage study, radio coverage study, VSAT link calculation, fibre optic link budget, etc
Prepare Requisition and perform Technical Bid Evaluation of Telecoms Systems
Perform Telecoms power consumption, heat dissipation, weight estimation
Liaise with client to resolve Engineering comments and provide solution
Coordinate with other disciplines and contractors on systems interfaces

Job Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Telecommunications)
Minimum 12 years experience in Telecoms Detailed Engineering in the Oil and Gas industry preferably Offshore projects
Knowledge of international regulations, codes, and standards affecting Telecoms Systems
Knowledge of Telecoms studies and calculations
Proficient in writing Telecoms specifications
Team player and interact with other disciplines colleagues, clients, and suppliers
