Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled UAV technical expert to join our dynamic team. You will contribute to the development, maintenance, and operational excellence of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems that support our strategic initiatives.

As a Senior Engineer - UAV, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of advanced UAV platforms. You will provide technical leadership, troubleshooting expertise, and hands-on maintenance support, working closely with engineering teams to resolve complex system issues and enhance overall UAV capabilities. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of operations, supporting the company's commitment to innovation and quality.

Lead the inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing of UAV hardware and associated systems to maintain operational readiness and efficiency.

Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults using advanced diagnostic tools and apply engineering principles to rectify issues promptly.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and logistics to plan maintenance schedules and implement system upgrades.

Manage and work with standard operating procedures, maintenance manuals, and technical reports to support knowledge management and compliance standards.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices to uphold the highest standards of operational safety.

Support UAV users during events / exercises, when requested.

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Aerospace Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electronics Engineering.

Proven experience in UAV maintenance and troubleshooting, with a strong technical background in electronics, mechanics, and system integrations.

Possession of relevant certifications or qualifications demonstrating advanced technical proficiency in UAV systems is highly advantageous.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation across teams and stakeholders.
