Senior Engineer/Engineer (Robotics Software, Built Environment)
What you will be working on:
Develop, test and deploy robotic systems and applications to solve real-world problems for the built environment sector
Liaise and work with stakeholders to conceptualize robotic solutions that can be applied to the built environment sector
Liaise and work with stakeholders to develop and deploy robotic solutions to the built environment sector
Organize outreach activities to promote use of robotics solutions for the built environment sector
Responsible for software programming for robotic systems
Responsible for electrical design, fabrication and assembly for robotic systems
Supervise student training in robotic projects
What we are looking for:
Qualification in Robotics, Software, Computer Science or Mechatronics Engineering
At least 8 years of experience in robotic projects, preferably in the built environment sector
Experience in development of robotic systems using Robotics Operating System (ROS) 1 (ROS1) and 2 (ROS2)
Experience in the following programming languages: C/C++, Java and Python
Skilled in artificial intelligence and data analytics technologies
Passionate about robotics
Able to learn new skills and work independently
Good proposal preparation skills
Good written and oral communication skills.
