About our group:

RMO HDI-Reliability Laboratory\'s primary mission is to provide Mechanical test solutions to enable media and substrate process and product qualification as well as product yield, quality and reliability. Team also serves a critical role in Media mechanical design and development, mDVL testing, Tribology testing, contamination and defect reduction. Working closely with R&D centers and Manufacturing. This role will report to an Engineering Manager.

About the role - you will:

Support Testing on Media mechanical design/development

• HDD drive manual assembly, test loading and unloading
• PC based Tester (window/linux) set up and maintenance
• Hands on in troubleshooting of mDVL Tester
• Head and Media basic analysis via microscope, Optical scan and Metrology equipment
• Deploy technical solutions to improve test functionality
• Work closely with engineers to resolve testing issues
• Work in a team that provide quality testing to meet the Media Mechanical CTQ and reliability requirements of media in hard disc drive

About you:

• Self-motivated achiever
• Proficient problem-solver with analytical skills

Your experience includes:

• Knowledge and skills in HDD Tester, Failure analysis and metrology equipment will be beneficial in this role
• Experienced in Drive/Component level testing

Location:

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass-transportation to work. Ample free on-site parking is also available.
