Job Description


As a Senior / Staff Engineer, Facilities, you are responsible for all facilities related activities consisting of Building/Facilities cleanliness, Plant equipment and machineries, landscape maintenance and coordinate on facilities/building security.

Key Job Responsibilities

Facilities Roles / Responsibilities \xe2\x80\x93 Primary Role

  • Lead and manage project of renovation fit out work, ensuring compliance to requirements and prevailing regulations.
  • Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces
  • Perform routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed
  • Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
  • Ensure proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals
  • Maintain day to day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders
  • Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staffs.
  • Maintain pantry supplies, face masks and ART kits.
  • Stand-in as Safety Management Officer and ensure alignment to prevailing Safety Management Measures when assigned by superior.
EHS Roles / Responsibilities \xe2\x80\x93 Secondary Role
  • Ensure a healthy and safe working environment which is compliant with Singapore statutory regulations.
  • Responsible to work with various stakeholders on all safety aspects of work operations from planning, execution to acceptance instructed by superior.
  • Help to conduct incident investigations as well as CAPA reporting, including closing of CAPA with affected departments assigned by superior.
  • Helps to setting up, and ensuring proficiency of site wide Emergency Response Team, Emergency Response Plan and high standards of safety within the site.
  • Helps to establish a robust risk assessment and control plan for all operating processes.
  • Helps to drive for EHS improvement within the site assigned or instructed by superior.

Job Qualification

Knowledge & Experience requirements
  • Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management
  • Demonstrated experience in leading big scale renovation / fit out program; with at least 5 years of working experience in the capacity of facilities management
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in the capacity of EHS management
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a positive attitude and an open mindset to embrace a team-oriented working environment
  • Certification in Workplace Safety & Health Management System will be advantageous.
  • Certification in Fire Safety Manager will be advantageous.
