Job Description
The S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), a Graduate School of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is a leading professional school of international affairs and policy-oriented think tank. The School invites suitably qualified individuals for the position of:
SENIOR EVENTS TECHNICAL OFFICER / EVENTS TECHNICAL EXECUTIVE
The successful candidate will report to Head, Events. He or she will have the following responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support for virtual events, onsite events, and onsite events with virtual participation, which will include:
- Setting up and taking down equipment;
- Being the technical operator for events;
- Performing post-production, including video production; and
- Assisting with pre- and post-event e-publicity, etc.
- Website and social media support; and
- Maintaining and accounting for technical and other equipment, etc.
Requirements:
GCE A Levels or Diploma with 2-3 years of relevant work experience;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required;
Proficiency in the following software is preferred: OBS Studio, Zoom Meeting, Zoom Webinar, Microsoft Teams Live Event, other VTC software (e.g. Webex, Skype).
Familiar with audio-visual systems;
Experience with technical operations for virtual/hybrid events and/or livestreaming to social media (e.g. YouTube, Facebook) is preferred. Interested applicants should provide information on their previous experiences and links to past livestreams they have conducted, if available;
Meticulous and good technical competency; and
Pleasant and polite personality.
