Job Title: Senior Executive / Assistant Manager (Central Operations)

The Central Procurement Office(CPO) is the National University of Singapore's strategic hub for sourcing and supplier management. • Provide operational support such as Purchase Orders (POs) creation, amendment, cancellation, and Goods Receipt/Return in the eProcurement systems
• Follow-up on Open POs and serve as a liaison between users, finance and suppliers to resolve issues
• Act as helpdesk case agent to handle enquiries and resolve system technical issue
• Provide advice and guidance to users on procurement policies, procedures, and system usage
• Administer and maintain catalogue contracts on the eProcurement Systems (including uploading and downloading), and update content on the NUS Procurement website
• Proactively identify and implement opportunities to optimise and streamline procurement operations for greater efficiency
• Assist the Team Lead in overseeing daily operations and help mentor the team to ensure operational excellence
• Assist the Team Lead to support key strategic initiatives, such as Business Continuity Planning (BCP), SLA management, supplier engagement, and AI adoption
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by NUS/Department/Team Lead

Qualifications

• Degree in any field
• At least 2-3 years of relevant procurement operations experience
• Customer service focus with excellent inter-personal, analytical, and communication skills
• Team player with keen interest to learn in a dynamic environment
• Resourceful with strong attention to detail
• Able to demonstrate commitment to deadlines with excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Experience as a change agent in an organisation
• Familiar with e-procurement systems (Ariba, SAP S4 Hana) and proficient in MS Office
