We are a hub of knowledge and innovation, attracting healthcare professionals who are passionate about pushing boundaries and making significant contributions to the field.About Department and Purpose of the PositionThe National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) is a national specialist centre under the National University Health System (NUHS). It is the only public cancer centre in Singapore treating both paediatric and adult cancers in one facility.We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Digital Strategy & Program Development, to be part of our incredible team in NCIS Ops & Admin (Cancer Program), supporting NCIS in the deliveries of FY30 work plan. This role will focus on implementing digital solutions, optimizing workflows, and developing programs that enhance patient care, staff productivity, and overall healthcare service delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital transformation, program management, and stakeholder engagement within the healthcare sector.Key ResponsibilitiesDigitalisation & Innovation

  • Lead the planning and execution of digital transformation initiatives to enhance oncology care delivery.
  • Identify and implement emerging technologies, such as AI, automation, and data analytics.
  • Creates a unified, interoperable data hub: Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to ensure seamless integration of digital tools and platforms.
  • Monitor industry trends in healthcare and recommend innovative solutions for healthcare digital transformation.
  • Streamline and automate data management and analytics processes.
Program Development & Implementation
  • Design, develop, and manage programs that focus on digitalization to optimize healthcare processes, patient experiences, and treatment coordination.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure programs align with regulatory requirements and organizational goals
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital and program initiatives.
  • Develop training programs to support staff adoption of new technologies and workflows.
  • Responsibilities encompass a wide range of operational, budgeting, and strategic tasks.
  • This includes reviewing Program workplans, budgeting, resource planning, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on project funding, compliance, and administration matters.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
  • Engage with healthcare professionals, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth digital implementation.
  • Act as a change leader, driving digital culture and innovation within the organization.
  • Act as a liaison between leadership, clinicians and technology teams to align digital strategies and program goals.
Project Ownership
  • Take ownership of project together with the clinical lead, overseeing the entire lifecycle from project formation to execution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the early phases to assist in proposal scoping and development, contract management and project initiation.
  • Any other projects/ tasks as assigned by dept
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in digital Transformation, IT, business management or any other similar discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience, and 2 years in the capacity of leading digitalisation, program development, or healthcare project management projects in a Healthcare, Biomedical, Pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, regulations, and digital health technologies.
  • Experience with process automation, data analytics, and electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
  • Resourceful, agile, and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills to work under a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exhibit professionalism by demonstrating personal accountability, effective work habits, empathy, and teamwork.
  • Highly organized individual with the ability to exercise good judgement in diverse situations and balance multiple priorities, without sacrificing quality and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and assume additional responsibilities, as required.
