National Gallery Singapore is a leading visual arts institution which oversees the world\xe2\x80\x99s largest public collection of Singapore and Southeast Asian modern art. DESIGNATION : Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager (AV & Lighting)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interface between curatorial, audience engagement and operation departments for audio, visual and lighting requirements.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders for effective delivery of audio, visual and lighting operations, events, festivals and exhibitions.
  • Adhere to work processes and SOPs relating to the daily operations of the audio visual and lighting department.
  • Understand exhibition logistics, procedures and participate in the exhibition installation and uninstallation process.
  • Understand event logistics, procedures and participate in the design, operation and uninstallation process.
  • Provide hands on technical support to end-users.
  • Carry out and troubleshoot audio, visual and lighting related processes to ensure smooth interfacing between various equipment.
  • Lead the maintenance of audio, visual and lighting equipment with proper administrative follow-ups.
  • Lead the scheduling of casual technicians and maintenance contractors.
  • Support the audio, visual and lighting team for excellent service delivery.
  • Assist in the inventory of audio, visual & lighting equipment.
  • Assist in the sourcing of equipment replacements and upgrades when required.
  • Support SVAC initiatives when required.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Must have experience with installing and operating various light fixtures and control systems.
  • Must have skilled knowledge of audio-visual equipment, video and teleconferencing.
  • Must have skilled knowledge of computers and presentation software.
  • The ability to work independently, identifying resources and make independent decisions.
  • Strong oral communication skills.
  • Ability and interest in learning technology related skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible hours for availability (including evenings and weekends).
  • Must be able to work long hours during exhibition and event installations.
  • Positive customer-oriented attitude and professional image.
