Manage the research and development of prototypes created by undergraduates in BME modules under the bGood programme in BME. These include:
Identifying projects that have commercial or social impact value.
Pre-project preparations (e.g. preparing the prototype development plan and budget for each selected undergraduate project).
Managing project teams in developing these prototypes through garnering users feedback and improving prototype design iterations towards bGood products.
Manufacturing of bGood products after they are developed from prototypes.
Administrative tasks of bGood, from liaising with students to manufacturers in the product development cycle.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Community Co-Innovation Hub (Co-iHub) in which the bGood prototypes are being developed.
Provide teaching and technical support in various undergraduates courses under bGood, including BN4102 Gerontechnology in Ageing, BN4103 Assistive Technology for Persons with Disability and BN4701 Serious Games for Health.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
A Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering.
Position will commensurate with work experience.
Relevant work experience in product development is preferred.
Possess knowledge and skills in product design using CAD (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360), software coding, microcontroller programming, and project management.
