Job Description
What the role is:
As a Senior Executive/Finance & General Administration, you will play a key role in supporting IT Division's operations through financial management and administrative functions.
What you will be working on:
- Handling budget management, billing/invoice and accounts payable processes
- Maintain & monitor accurate financial records (accruals, prepayments and raise journal entries) and assist with closing of Financial Year
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Provide advice and guidance to department users on proper compliance to both financial and procurement regulations and policies
- Support system enhancement and policies review where necessary
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Providing general administrative support, training coordinator and ad-hoc tasks to the division
- Possess suitable credentials in Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, or related disciplines, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial operations
- Prior experience in public sector procurement processes and financial management would be advantageous.
- Ability to handle data analysis, financial management
- Independent, meticulous, self-motivated, and responsible team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (mandatory) and Workday System (preferred)
